

At 3:16 AVI we are passionate about equipping churches with the knowledge they need to make effective use of the technology they have, or are looking to invest in.
Many churches have tech available to them which is not used to it’s potential for a variety of reasons.
Our next training programme, based at Tayside Christian Fellowship, Perth, is scheduled for Saturday 25th April 2026 and promises relevant sessions for todays church. Each session is put together to provide key knowledge and help you apply it to your particular situation. With a variety of informative sessions as well as the opportunity for hands on practical experience, there will be something for everyone.
The sessions will be from 10:00 to 3:30, lunch and time to chat and demo equipment will be provided.
Session 1 – Reaching Out Online
What are our options for livestreaming our services and what should we consider? We will discuss options for livestreaming equipment and considerations you should make, as well as hints and tips for producing livestream content.
Session 2 – Translation and Digital Signage
How to you cater to those that English isn’t there first language with services in real-time?How can we use an engaging visual communication tool that captures attention through motion graphics, video, and interactive content to draw those into the church?
Session 3 – Introduction to Church Sound
How to connect things to your sound system, and how to improve the quality of your sound using the equipment you may already own. This will include practical demonstration and examples.
Session 4- Troubleshooting
This session will introduce simple, user-friendly methods for identifying technical issues and provide solutions to resolve your root causes.
In addition to the planned sessions above, there will be time for Questions and the chance to get hands on with the tech.

Location
We are pleased to be supported by Tayside Christian Fellowship, Paradise Place, Perth, who have kindly allowed us the use of their building for this event.

We want you to get the best out of your experience, so there will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and to share your experience.
There will also be hands on sessions if you want to try something out and get some 1 on 1 coaching, time permitting of course.
What experience do I need to attend?
The training sessions are open for everyone, no matter your experience level. We will have sessions which are more technical than others, however we will endeavour to make sure that there is something for everyone, no matter what your previous experience is.
